Our name is based on a loose Latin/Spanish translation of cava for cave and loma for rolling hills, CavaLoma Ranch is a 4,500-acre bison and hunting ranch that lies on the South Fork of the historic Guadalupe River in Central Texas. CavaLoma is under the stewardship of the Anderson Family. We are a Texas heritage ranch located in western Kerr County - home to diverse rangeland managed in a sustainable way.

CavaLoma is a blessing to the Anderson’s and their family. Andy and Kim manage the ranch day to day to deliver on their commitment to regenerative and sustainable ranching. The ranch is also home to Kim’s garden and a menagerie of goats, dogs, cats, chickens, and donkeys.
